Abstract

Basic competencies is students are expected to understand control systems, control system applications, and control history after studying the introductory chapter on control systems in this textbook. Students are especially expected to explain terms in the field of control system engineering, define an automatic control system’s meaning, goals, and objectives, provide examples of control system applications,dDifferentiates open and closed-loop control systems, explain the basic principles of control system design, explain the definitions of essential terms in automatic control systems, explain the advantages and disadvantages of open-loop and closed-loop control systems, understanding automatic control system examples and applications, and understanding of analytical procedures in the design of automatic control systems.
